I fully admit to being a seasoned Apple geek. The kind that’s been around since the bad old days, when being an Apple fan was almost like being a resident of a lepper colony.

I buy the products because I love them. But most importantly because they add value to my life and enable me to be creative, productive and they provide access to my entertainment.

But, oh brother. Some Apple users of today. Embarrassing, technically inept and trend following technology snobs…. That’s not the community I signed up for.

And what triggered this rant. Someone just asked me how to switch off their Apple Watch…….Noooooo

I think it’s time to dust off my Linux box and bash some shell commands.

The single biggest thing Apple need to do to improve iOS is to kill springboard. It’s a sorry excuse for a launcher and essentially hasn’t changed since 2007. But I suspect that will never happen…. – Read on Path.
